He was born on January 11, 1755. His birth place was on the island of Nevis, British West Indies. He was 5' 7" (1.70m). He went to Columbia College of Columbia University in the City of New York. He was married to Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton to, 1780-1854. His children were James Alexander Hamilton, John Church Hamilton, William S. Hamilton, Alexander Hamilton Jr., Angelica Hamilton, Eliza Hamilton, Philip Hamilton.
How did he die?
Alexander died by a gun shot wound. He received the wound during a duel with Aaron Burr. They got into a duel because, Aaron became the Vice President of the United States, Hamilton disapproved. They were always threatening each other. That only got worse when Alexander offended Aaron during a dinner party. After that happened, Aaron was always trying to get Alexander to apologize, he always refused. Aaron finally got enough of it, he challenged him to a duel. The duel was held on July 11, 1804, in the Heights of Weehawken in New Jersey. Alexander shot a bullet in the air, and Aaron fired at him. Alexander got shot in the abdomen, and died the next day.

His mother was Rachel Fawcett. His 1 father was John Lavien, he was a sugar planter. They were married in the 1740s, on the island of St. Croix. John would beat Rachel, once he kept her imprisoned. The next day she left her husband and her son, while she ran away to islands in Nevis and St. Kitts in the Caribbean. There, she met James Hamilton. She lived with James for 15 yrs., but she never divorced John. James and Rachel had two sons together. They were James Hamilton, and Alexander Hamilton.
How did Alexander meet his wife, Elizabeth?
He met his Elizabeth while he was he was a maid-de-camp to George Washington. Even though he didn't have wealth to his name, he was accepted by Elizabeth's family. His future father-in-law and Alexander had the same beliefs. Alexander and his future father-in-law had a lot in common, they had been soldiers, and they had both been in the same military rank. Elizabeth thought it was love at first sight, but for Alexander, he married her for their money.
What have I learned?
I have learned that Alexander Hamilton is an amazing person. He was a soldier for George Washington! He married a women just for her money. He got shot in a duel by Aaron Burr after he shot a bullet in the air. His mom's 1 husband beat her, but she got away. (thank goodness.) If his mom never got away, then Alexander would have never been born.
